Planning is underway for the 2015 Mission Trip to the Philippines!

The Session has approved a 2015 Mission Trip to Little Children of the Philippines in Dumaguete City. The planning team (Sally Millar, Matt Crane, Jane Dossett, and Beth du Toit) need to determine preliminary interest in this trip and are asking high school students (incoming 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th-graders) and adults to complete an Expression of Interest form if you would like to pursue this opportunity. Important information is:

  • The trip is limited to 20 people (14 students and 6 adults).
  • Youth travelers should currently be active in the youth group (or will become active).
  • The Session and planning team expect that all travelers will participate in planning the activities of the trip. If you’d like to see the timeline and milestones, there is a one-page spreadsheet in a folder in the church office. Please feel free to take one. This document details cost information as well as the fundraising tasks. Half of the youth travelers’ costs will be paid thru PCIS fundraising activities.

The planning team will provide more information about this trip before we ask for a commitment in mid-September. If you are interested, please complete the form and leave it in Sally Millar’s box no later than Sunday, July 13.
