January 6 and January 13, we will continue our second Advent study, The Messiah:
An Adult Advent Study, written by Walter Brueggemann and centered on study of
the four titles of the Messiah given in Isaiah 9:6: “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”.

o January 13: Prince of Peace
§ January 20 – February 24, we will explore a Kerygma study entitled, "Blessed are
You: The Beatitudes of Jesus in Scripture and Life". We will examine Old Testament
roots and context and explore the contemporary implications of these powerful
words
