For January, we'll read a classic: Journal of the Plague Year by Daniel DeFoe. Catherine knows that seems like a downer right now, but her sister-in-law just finished it and raved about it. Her sister wrote, "Surprisingly, it was incredibly comforting. For in the book, it was a play-by-play of what was happening today. The decrees, the reactions, the first wave, the second wave, etc, etc. So, I found comfort that there is nothing new under the sun. And more comfort that humanity has found a way to adapt and survive. It's the evidence of God's promise that He is always with us." This sounds like something we all could probably use right now! That meeting will be January 29, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. on Zoom. Catherine Crow will lead the discussion.
